Will LaunchPad help me get funded?
That's the idea! Although there are no guarantees, LaunchPad provides the business support to get your company ready for capital introductions. We have relationships with local, regional, and national venture capitalists and investors who are funding hot companies.
Is funding the "end game" for all LaunchPad companies?
No way! Think of it as a process...OCTANe plays the "honest broker" whose role is to match promising ideas, concepts, and businesses with proven resources: technical assistance, business development, IP patent assistance, regulatory aid, market research, management talent, and much more. Of course, introductions to capital sources are of key importance to many of our start-ups.
Do you work with everyone?
Because of the high demand, we are unable to help every company interested in LaunchPad, but we can usually provide other alternatives to help them get started.
